My work focuses on capturing human connection. I start my creative process through photography. Taking photos is a way for me to preserve moments that feel important. None of the photos I end up painting from are posed. I enjoy the playfulness and fleeting feeling of candids. Capturing people how they naturally are is very inspiring to me. When I take a photo that perfectly encapsulates the subject within it, the photo almost begs to be painted.
